Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book?
Do you travel to me or do I come to you?
For bridal services, I recommend booking 1 month in advance, especially for spring and summer weddings when demand is highest. For prom, special occasions, and color analysis sessions, 1 week notice is typically sufficient, though earlier is always better to secure your preferred date.
Both options are available. You are welcome to visit me in Highland, Utah, or I can travel to you. I serve Utah County and Salt Lake County, including Provo, Orem, American Fork, Lehi, Draper, Sandy, and Salt Lake City. Contact me to confirm availability for your location.
What is included in the bridal package?
How long does makeup application take?
The bridal package includes a pre-wedding trial session and your full wedding day makeup application. The trial is an opportunity to preview two different looks, make adjustments, and ensure everything is perfect before the big day. Long-wearing, photography-ready products are used throughout to ensure your look stays flawless from ceremony to reception.
A bridal trial typically takes up to 2 hours. Wedding day application is approximately 60–75 minutes for the bride. Prom and special occasion applications are generally 30–45 minutes. Color analysis sessions run approximately 60–90 minutes depending on the depth of analysis.
What is color analysis and how does it work?
How is Korean color curating different from traditional seasonal color analysis?
Color analysis is a personalized process that identifies the colors that best suit your individual features, complexion, and image. My sessions use a Korean-developed approach including an Elements Check, which is a combination of preference analysis, image analysis, and skin colorimetry. This is followed by professional color draping to see real-life effects on your skin. You leave with your top 3 daily colors and guidance on how to apply them to your makeup, wardrobe, and styling.
Traditional Western seasonal color analysis places you into one of four broad categories: Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter. My approach goes deeper. Using the Elements Check methodology developed in Seoul, Korea, in addition to professional color draping, I analyze your individual features rather than fitting you into a broad seasonal type. The result is a more personalized palette that reflects your specific undertones and coloring rather than a generalized season.
