The Korean 12-Season Methodology
Not all color analysis systems are the same. The Korean-certified methodology used at Color Me Pretty Please goes beyond a simple draping session. Each appointment includes an image analysis, a subject analysis, a professional colorimeter reading, and color draping - a comprehensive process designed to extract the optimal color image that meets your individual needs. The goal is personal branding: using color to authentically express who you are across beauty, fashion, and wardrobe.
The colorimeter objectively measures how much red and yellow is present in your skin and your skin's lightness - definitively identifying whether you are warm, cool, or neutral for makeup, and warm or cool for clothing. No more guesswork at the makeup counter.
Most systems work with four seasons. The Korean methodology identifies sub-seasons and in-between seasons within each, giving you 12 overall tones to be matched to. Rather than simply being told you're a "Winter," you'd be matched to Winter Dark, Winter Deep, or Winter Vivid - each with its own distinct, highly specific palette.
